Description of Primary Duties

Write news releases for distribution to local and area media; write feature stories for use in alumni and employee publications and/or websites; prepare weekly and monthly calendar of events for distribution to the media; prepare postings for publication on WordPress; compose Tweets

Required Qualifications

Strong writing and editing abilities; excellent time management skills; professional appearance and attitude; previous writing or journalism experience preferred; demonsted knowledge of social channels

Required Certifications
Additional Qualifications

Command of Associated Press style; familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere)
