Description of Primary Duties

HIRING NOW FOR THE FALL 2017 SEMESTER

  • We highly prefer the individual be an education major since a large portion of this role is tutoring elementary aged children.
  • Mondays from 9-4
    Wed or Friday from 9-4
    *Note: Flexibility will be given around holidays and school breaks

Primary Responsibilities
-Assist two school aged children with their homeschool work
-Monitoring their progress while they watch the DVD lessons
-Assisting them with questions regarding their seat work
-Checking completeness/accuracy of work Preparing future days of seat work by pulling assignments
-Assisting with homework assignments like spelling word review, test review and reading

-Multitask with 4 year old child to keep engaged in preschool activities and games during school day

Secondary Responsibilities
-Ensure that children help organize/clean school room at the completion of the day
-Work with children to help pick up any toys, games, crafts from the days activities
-During break times, engage with kids through games and activities
-Assist with lunch preparation and clean up
